Jenna Coleman, 32, shot to fame after landing the role of Jasmine Thomas in Emmerdale. She made her debut on the show in 2005, and within two years, the British actor was nominated for two “newcomer” awards. She starred in the soap until 2009, the same year in which she landed a part in the BBC school-based drama series Waterloo Road – playing Lindsay James. Jenna went from strength-to-strength, landing a string of roles on the small screen, and in 2011, she made her feature film debut in Captain America: The First Avenger.
Fast forward a year, and it was announced that Jenna would take on a huge role in Doctor Who – playing the companion of the Eleventh Doctor (Matt Smith).
She first starred in the show in September 2012 playing Oswin Oswald, who died at the end of the episode.
In the Christmas special that year, Jenna portrayed Victorian governess and barmaid Clara Oswin Oswald, who also died.
But, at the end of the episode, she was seen playing Clara Oswald in contemporary London, with her regular role beginning in the sixth episode of the seventh series, which aired in 2013.
Jenna continued to portray Clara after the Doctor went under another regeneration, and became the Twelfth Doctor (Peter Capaldi).
However, she exited the show following the ninth series, having decided to take on the role of Queen Victoria in the ITV drama Victoria.
Last year, Jenna also starred as Joanna Lindsay in the four-part mystery drama series The Cry.
As most people tend to do, the actor has undergone a style transformation over the years.
In unearthed captures of the actor from 2005, she can be seen grinning as she steps out on the red carpet for the Inside Soap Awards.
The actor looked equally chic two years later, as she arrived for the TV Choice Awards.
Her style evolution continued, and Jenna’s red carpet appearances saw her step out in an array of different looks.
In 2012, she was pictured on the red carpet in London sporting an olive green and black ensemble.
The garment had been fashioned with an olive green maxi skirt, and a black bandeau top.
Last month, Jenna sat on the Front Row of the Christian Dior show at Paris Fashion Week.
She chose a double-breasted blazer and matching skirt for the outing, as well as a red roll neck top and matching high heels.
